Look Over the Walls (LoW) is one of those bands that doesn’t need much to be incredible. Their latest single, Good Times, feels like an old song that you once heard and was eternally marked in your mind; it’s a warm sound that leads you to a sweet nostalgia.
We discovered Andrea Paradas at the 2018 Circuito Nuevas Bandas as a soloist. Her style and essence still make the perfect match with her indie-rock music, but something changed: this time she arrived at YAB Hub with Aldair Arroyo on the guitar and Fernando Egido on percussion.
When you think of a Friday night, it all comes down to one thing: having fun. That’s what it was all about last Friday, when LoW took over Yo Amo Bqto’s nest for a night of music, good cocuy and people together while something cool happened.
Even though it’s getting a little harder and harder to find a break, that night we proved it’s still possible.
YAB Hub’s terrace was the small stage for LoW and their new album; the moon could hear the acoustic version of Moonlight, and we all came out singing out to the lyrics of some song that got stuck in our minds. From Timeless, Again and, of course, Good Times, the members of LoW left us counting the days until we heard them the next time.
All that remains to be said: On Friday we went from being I Love Bqto to I Love Low, and we are sure you will too once you listen to them:
